In 2009, Mary Ellyn produced the first Dance Wicked For A Week event which included world-famous stars of pole dancing and burlesque and was attended by nearly 100 guests.

Due to the tremendous success of this week, and feedback from participants, Dance Wicked 2010 will take place once again at Hedonism 3 in Jamaica.

Mary Ellyn, who is 50 years old, began amateur pole dancing in 2002 but had her first real introductory lesson in 2004 at the Hedonism 3 resort in Jamaica.

After that she was dedicated to learning "serious" pole dancing but was limited to learning on her own as there were no pole dancing schools in the Chicago area at that time.

By 2005 she had opened ETEDance, the first school in the Chicago area, and has since trained with some of the worlds greatest master level instructors like Katie Coates, Fawnia Mondey-Dietrich, Jenyne Butterfly, and Sharon Polsky and is a certified master instructor through Pole Fitness Studios.

Mary Ellyn is known for her comprehensive teaching skills, her instruction is grounded in safe methods while emphasizing the sensual style of pole dancing. .

As a tribute to her teaching skills, Mary Ellyn has been nominated for Pole Dance Instructor Of The Year for 2010   through the International Pole Dance and Fitness Association.

Her students have ranged from 18-69 and her program welcomes women of all builds and backgrounds, from those with no dance experience at all to trained professionals looking to learn more.
