Pole Dancer Travel


Mary Ellyn and Jim began working as a host couple for Castaways Travel in the Spring of 2004
when they launched their "Spring Break Group" trips to Hedonism.

In the spring of 2005, for their second group trip, Mary Ellyn convinced one of the
entertainment coordinators - Spike - to give our group some lessons on pole dancing.

Spike, who was known for his ability to walk gracefully in 9 inch stilettos,
showed the group some great moves and they learned that pole dancing was a lot tougher than it appeared.
Later in the week the beautiful Web mistress, Michelle, came in and showed everyone more exotic pole dance moves.

Mary Ellyn went home with a new respect for pole dancing and began to expand upon her
previous pole dance experience, learning the true "art" of pole dancing.

By the end of 2005, Mary Ellyn and her husband Jim had opened the first pole dancing school in
the Chicago area, Empowerment Through Exotic Dance, Ltd. and by the following year,
had added pole dance lessons as a regular event during their annual Spring Break trips.

In 2007, Jim Bailey, (who owns Castaways Travel with his wife Champagne)
developed the idea of promoting the trips under the name of "Pole-Dancer Travel".
With more trips in addition to Spring Break being added each year,
the birth of Pole-Dancer Travel would now cover all of their group trips.

Pole Dancer Travel group trips are not limited to pole dancers, or even guests who are interested
in pole dancing, though guests can certainly enjoy participating in lessons if they like.
These group trips are known for being lifestyle oriented, welcoming and accepting
anyone who is interested in joining the group, regardless of age, experience or background.
Both singles and couples are welcome to join.

Pole Dancer Travel groups are for those who want to live out their fantasies and enjoy life,
partying with other like-minded people.

There are no expectations beyond socializing and having fun.
